Вирішення проблеми попередження венозних тромбоемболічних ускладнень залежить від реалізації теоретичних і практичних досягнень сучасної медицини. Сучасні технології часто використовують нераціонально і неефективно, внаслідок чого їх застосування залежить не тільки від об’єктивних чинників, а й компетентності лікаря, його знань в цій галузі, а також суб’єктивної оцінки ступеня ризику. Застосування наведених рекомендацій з комплексної профілактики ТГВ і ТЕЛА дозволить суттєво зменшити частоту цих ускладнень.
